Dorinea was a WAAF during WW2 operating barrage balloons during the blitz. She became a telephonist and lived with Edith May and Joseph Forman Goodson after the war. Her Younger brother John joined them after demobilisation in 1948. John & Joseph (Bill) Godson came to Australia 5 months ahead to build a house.
