Husband of Melanina Mazzella (nee Ambrosini), married by proxy. Father of Guiseppe (Joe), Michael (Mike), Louise, Maria (Mary), Clare & Tony. Ran a family market garden in Wanneroo & was a volunteer for the St Anthony Church, including leading the annual St Anthony Day procession. Raffaele arrived in Fremantle aboard the the Orama on 23 August 1927.
