On the Eastern Princess's second last voyage, we encountered Cyclone Tracy's force, a day following the Darwin devastation. 30 foot waves - a terrifying experience. Delaying our arrival into Fremantle, we were forced to spend our first night in Australia sleeping on marble under the terminal's stairway. A memorable beginning.
