Giuseppe worked from his arrival in Australia until retirement (1985) at Watsonia factory, Spearwood. He progressed from factory hand to Supervisor. He bought out his wife Italia and his son Mario in 1957 (see Matassa Italia and Mario) Long serving acolyte at St Patrick's Basilica. Legendary home gardener in both Fremantle and Beaconsfield.
