Came to marry Mr William Barrett. When I first arrived I among others was removed from the ship suspected of smallpox, taken to Woodman's Point. Then went to stay in Collie, then brought back to check - ended up chickenpox. Married, had 2 children. Lived in Merredin, Perth and Bassendean 50 yrs.
