Read their story
We were aged 8 & 6 respectively in 1947. Our parents were Leonard & Gwenyth Martin. Leoard had previously migrated to Autralia in 1923 where he met Gwenyth who in 1938 travelled to England to meet up with and marry Leonard who had returned to visit his parents in Rainham, Kent. They intended to stay 2 years but war broke out and we all came to Australia in 1947.
