Benjamin travelled with his wife Mary, son & daughter, Elsie & Cyril (both single) & a married daughter & her husband, Norah & Ernest Booker. He died in 1923 from intestinal & other abdominal injuries after being kicked by a horse. He is buried in the Merredin Cemetery.
