Drove bullock teams and was a farm labourer at Wyalkatchem . Married Margaret Ingram 21/06/47. Was a publican at the Newmarket Hotel before working at South Fremantle Powerhouse. He died 31/8/57 leaving two children Raymond (1948) and John (1952). His widow still resides in the family home in Coogee Beach.
