Aged 17, Tony came to Australia to earn & save enough money to buy a 'Vespa'! His first job was in the Goldfields bush cutting wood for the mines. He eventually became a miner/shift boss & has worked at various mine sites around W.A. He is married to Maria (originally from Scotland) and they have two sons, Christopher and Stephen who were born in Kalgoorlie.
