Brought to Australia by Christian Brothers aged 10. Sent to Tardun and Geraldton till 17. Then entered Perth university Engineering faculty 1945. Joined army 1947 served in UK, Germany, Korea & Vietnam, retiring as a Colonel, Royal Aust Corp of Signals. Married 1950, 4 children. Died Narooma, NSW in 1993, aged 63.
