Vincenza Mancuso was born and raised in Castell'Umberto, Italy and was the eldest of ten daughters. She came to Australia in 1968 as a newly-wed 18 year old. Vincenza now has three daughters and two sons. She was a founding member of the 'Le Gioie Della Donne' choir.
