Carmelo Mancuso was born in Castell'Umberto, Italy in 1929. He worked in Australia and Brazil before getting married to Vincenza Bevaqua in 1968 and settling permanently in Australia. Carmelo has five children, three daughters and two sons. He has two brothers in Australia and two sisters still in Italy.
