Francesco arrived in Fremantle and shortly after travelled to Augusta with other Italians to cut railway sleepers. Later, he went to Donnybrook, married Teresa Mammore (nee Manno) and settled in Metricup with 5 children Vincenzo, John, Maria, Carlo and Roy.
