Arthur worked hard in very difficult times at farming. He left the area after marriage to Marjorie Jane Johnson 29/02/1940. They had 3 daughters - Beverley Ann - 1942, Patricia Elizabeth - 1943 & Lesley - 1945. Arthur died from asthma.
