Married Mary Butler, Geraldton 1865. Policeman at Greenough to Shark Bay, 1881 -1884. Manager Goldren Sheay Hotel then at Pearlers Rest Hotel, Shark Bay. From 1886 pearling lease at Useless Inlet. Member Shark Bay Road Board 1904. Died in Carnarvon 1922. 5 children - Mary, Jessie, Jane, Pearl and Henry Owen - died WW1 1917.
