Positive thinking and enormous courage to start a new life. Endured many hardships but were happy to give their children a brighter future. They were kind, loving parents who worked hard all their lives. Chose Australia over Canada to aid Catherine's recovery from meningitis. Lost twins in 1925 while on the Peel Estate.
