Barrie, Jan, Jessica (10) and Daniel (6) arrived in 1975 after a three week sea-voyage. Two months later Rebecca, the true Aussie was born. Barrie lectured in Social Anthropology at UWA, is an ethnographic film maker and works with indigenous communities. Jan, a doctor, worked in womens' health and sexual health medicine.
