Walter and Ada married in Romford 21/12/1940. On arrival they spent 10 months at Pt Walter Migrant Camp before purchasing their home in Maylands where they spent the remainder of their lives. Walter worked at Midland Railways then became a Welfare Officer, Dept of Corrections. Ada was a tailoress, tea lady/cleaner.
