Born in Verden, West Germany in 1951, Solweig came to Perth with her parents Paul and Gunda Luckas on the Castel Verde in July 1953. Solweig had a career as a Primary School Teacher and made her home in Perth with her husband Colin and their three daughters Natalie, Catherine and Clare.
