Mr Charles Lucas returned permanently to England within 3 years of arrival and Mrs M P Lucas known as Phyllis (along with her four children) remained in Fremantle and lived and worked in the area until she died on 6th October 1978. Phyllis joined a variety club and sang and entertained in her leisure time.
