Arrived during the war in a small cargo ship SS Agapenor, after a two month journey in a convoy of 58 vessels, of which one third were sunk in the Atlantic. Fremantle was our destination because mother's brother, Canon Wilfred Clift, was Chaplain at the Mission to Seamen, Fremantle.
