Joyce arrived with her parents, growing up at Chapman Hill. In 1934 she married Sandy Miller and moved to Cowaramup. They worked hard to establish a successful dairy farm and raise five children; Bob, Donald, Barbara, Rusty and Alys. Joyce loved the country life, her family, church, garden and community.
