With his family, Geoff moved to Group Settlement 44, Busselton. He worked in Kalgoorlie during the Depression and returned home to Chapman Hill due to illness. Married Hilda Cross and had four children.. Geoff was instrumental in establishing the Butter Factory Museum and active in the Agriculture Show and other community organizations.
