Cyril came to Fremantle in 1944 on board the HMS Adamant, a British Merchant Navy Ship to patrol & protect WA. He met a young lady named Patricia, in a café in Perth, who became his wife on 7th June 1947. Cyril only returned to England once for a holiday in 2000.
