Arrived with husband Salvatore, children Carmelo & Carla. Salvatore had arrived in Australia in 1959. Maria lost a son in Italy soon after. Had another son, Claudio, in 1966. She lost her battle with cancer in 1999. One of nine children, daughter of Salvatore and Calogera Casilli.
