Alexander Longwill arrived some months prior to his wife Amy & daughter Elise. He was a ship's engineer (Blue Funnel Line) & signed off at Fremantle after being offered a shore job by a passenger. Sent for wife, Amy & daughter, Elise who sold up in the UK & came to Western Australia.
