Read their story

Florence travelled out to Australia from England to marry Herbert Childe. They wed in April 1921. After living in the village of Iwade with a large family Florence was transported to the Australian bush, to a farm pioneered by Herbert at Bilbarin. Sadly Florence died in 1927 aged 36 years, leaving 3 smalll children Joyce, Margaret (called Peggy) and Eraham. Peggy died in 1928 aged 4 years.
