Arrived in Fremantle at the age of 18 on the ship Imperia's first voyage. Worked as a Cray fisherman for 34 years. Married Bernardete Capelinha (3/6/1961) and raised 5 children - Joe, Olivia, Nancy, Mark and Sandra. Grandfather to Trevor, Samantha, Torre, Monica, Corey, Tristan and Shenae.
