One of 7 children to Jewish parents. Lived in Lebo till 11 years old. Brothers Harry, Dave, Sam & Barney and sisters Anne and Bella. Left Lativa via the Black Forest. Reach England, settled in the East End, London. Mother supported the family by delivering cakes as father was an invalid till his death in 1920. She also took in boarders. Harry migrated to Canada, followed by Dave Sarah migrated to Australia with Ernest Dreger who she married in Perth Registry Office 04/09/1911. Mother and sister Bella migrated to Canada in 1920's. Barney migrated to New York.
