Alfred James & Alice Ann Liddell (nee Brough) & family were from Yorkshire. They sailed from London on the ship "Osterley" on 18/4/1911 with eight of their ten children - Jane, Elsie, Arthur, Sarah, Laura, Katherine, James & Ruth. The elder two children May & William remained in England, but followed soon after.
