Henry John & Kate Elizabeth Lewer settled in Leederville, Harry working as a painter/builder. Recalled to British Army 1914 & spent much of WW1 as German POW. On return, granted vineyard at Herne Hill. Mavis born 1914 & Peter 1924. Moved to Albany 1933. Harry a builder, deceased 1948. Ill health prompted Kate's move to Mavis at Jennacubbine, deceased 1967. Harry built all three family homes.
