Member of Pioneer farming family Kununoppin and Winchester. Financed her brothers farm from a dairy she ran in Edinburgh. Emigrated and married George Sharp (he died three years later). Farmed Yarra Yarra. Children Agnes Lawson and George Charles. Managed farm and family, and was propriator of Carnamah Dairy Supplies.

  • Agnes was the only woman to purchase a Ready Made Farm from the Midland Railway Company in Winchester, South Carnamah - after overcoming great resistance from the Company who only felt comfortable for the farm to be in the name of a man.
