My Father, John Bernard Lansom was Ashley's cousin.
In about 1970 I and my wife Gill and our two (at that time) very young Children visited Australia when the band that I was in, the 4 Jacks and a Jill headlined the Festival of Perth as our song Master Jack had just been number one on Australia's hit parade. We met with our Australian cousins for a brief time before it was time for us to continue our Australian tour. This was by the way the only time I had ever met anybody with our surname. I Have been building the family tree but seem to have no luck with communicating with the Lansoms that I have unearthed in Adelaide or the USA.
