Originally the family fled from the Russian occupation from Estonia on the 21/9/44 living in Germany in displaced persons camps. In Graylands the family was separated. (Paul Snr, was a Major in the Estonian Army) was sent to a labouring job in Northam military camp. Arriving here they owned only bare essentials, so started saving for a new future in this country and after 2 years even started making the bricks for our own home.
