Vera Irene Rocket arrived on the Balranald on 24th October 1929. Alfred & Vera were married at St Johns Church Fremantle Oct 24th 1929. They were "Group Settlers" and had three children, Rhoda, Stanley & Vera. Most of the settlers had to walk off their farms, as the cattle all died due to there being no trace elements in the soil.
