Sven-Erik Laiving: Son of Meta Jensine Olsen born 22/02/1917, Svend Georg Laiving born 16/06/1908

My father was a Saboteur in WW2 code name ‘Sam’. A well-known Guitar Maker. My mother contributed and supported his endeavours.

I was conscripted to the Danish Royal Guards 17/06/1968-12/08/1969. Migrated to Western Australia, arrived at Fremantle Passenger Terminal 10/02/1971. Worked at Westrail 03/08/1971-04/07/1997 to which I have a brick inscribed with my details at the Workers Wall, Midland. I continued within this industry predominately in Mining/Construction with experience in above/underground work from 1997-2017 where I concluded my working experiences.

Married to Jeannette Gael Clark 15/03/1979. We had two children Steen Erik Laiving 18/10/1984 and Johnna Jeannette Laiving 19/10/1986.

Hi Sven-Erik - I just restored an old jazzguitar build by your father in 1958 (nr. 577) - its a very fine instrument and it sounds great. I'm looking for informations about your father and his lutherie, but it seems very limited what I can find. Can you help in any way??
