Born into a large family of five boys and five sisters, Ivan Kvesich first found work wood-cutting and land-clearing in the Great Southern of WA before settling in the Swan Valley working in brickyards and developing a vineyard. In 1951 he settled in Gwelup growing vegetables and died 16.01.1978,
Ivan Kvesich married Celia Radalj (nee Divich) in 1942, inherited two stepdaughters Anne Martinovich and Nellie Vranjes and they had two children Peter and Elsie Bojanich, 7 grandchildren and by 2004 there were 4 great grandchildren. At the time of his death 16.1.78 he lived in Killarney Road (now karrinyup Road), Gwelup.
