Read their story

Victor was a displaced PoW at the end of WWII. He married Therese in 1949 and they had a son in Germany named Helmut. They decided to emigrate to a neutral country from their heritage and leave war torn Europe behind. The chose Australia because a friend told them it had a British style of government. They had another son in Australia, named Peter. They have seven grandchildren.
