Josef signed a contract in Vienna to work for 2 years for the State Housing Commission in Western Australia, building Austrian pre-fab homes in Willagee. He boarded the Ugolino Vivaldi in Naples & arrived in Fremantle on 10/6/1951. Josef married an Australian, had two daughters . Settled in Willagee. He and his wife still live there.

My beautiful Papa (your great grandfather/opa) Taylah Vincent. So grateful and thankful for my father to have come out to Australia at the very young age of 19, he travelled with many of his mates and after meeting my gorgeous Mum, he remained in Australia, married and the rest is history.

On the way over from Naples to travel along the ocean to a land where he knew no one. Today I consider myself so lucky & fortunate to have a wonderful Papa I was blessed with. Alwyays in my heart forever. Love you xooxox

At the tender age of 19yrs old my beautiful Papa came out on an adventure to Australia on a work contract which was to last for 2 years, he met my darling Mum and remained here in Western Australia purchasing a home in Willagee to which he built onto it, He truly was a wonderful craftsman. I feel very blessed & proud of my father with all he had accomplished. He provided a beautiful and loving home for us, his family.
