Ljubica met her husband, Jure Grbavac, after WWII and followed him to Australia. They married, settled in Spearwood and had 3 children. She worked a small market garden whilst Jure worked as a builder. She lives in the same house after 50 years, has grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
