Paul Kovalevs, school principal, married Kay Howard, a teacher & author. Two sons: Michael b. 1966, school teacher & administrator married Nicole Barks, a teacher. Three children - Ashlee, Adam & Ryan. David b. 1969, RAAF fighter pilot & later Qantas pilot, married Vanessa Regan, a naval officer.

  • Paul was my teacher at Shackleton Primary and remembered for his love of birds, actually erected an aviary in the school yard.
