Gusztav filmed the trip from Germany to Australia on a 35mm black & white film which is now stored in the National Film Archives in Canberra. Agnes is researching into the lives of the 1522 migrants of the ANNA SALEN, based on the film.

ANNA SALEN - 31 December 1950 Disebarkation in Fremantle
Hello:
I am Wolodymir Katolik, age 21 months - now 75 USA, am the lone surviving member of a family of 4 who arived in Western Australia on this voyage. My father Iwan, age 27 (+2003 in USA); my mother Lida, age 24 (+2020 USA); my sister Ella, age 6 (+2023 USA).
We lived in WA in Tambellup, Stockton/Collie, Kendenup, and Yellowdine (Southern Cross) until June 1962 when the family emigrated to the United States of America to join my aunt Valya nee Lechner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I am most interested in obtaining a copy of the film which Gusztav made of the voyage.
Please advise.
Thanky you
