Arrived under the surname Sopjan and later changed it to Kosova to reflect the province in Yugoslavia where he originated from. Settled in Kalgoorlie and later returned to Yugoslavia to marry Filja Gjokaj. They both returned to Kalgoorlie and raised 3 children - Honorata, Leonard and Robert.
