Antoinette joined her husband Yanko who worked in Boulder as a miner. Yanko arrived sometime in 1911-1912. They moved to Fremantle in 1921. Yanko worked as a fisherman and he went missing (presumed drowned) on the Fishing Boat Raymond on 26 June 1923 around Carnac Island.

  • Since I had my grandmothers name (Antoinette Kosick) inscribed on the Welcome Walls I have found out that the ships name should be the Zieten. Also the family surname was originally spelt Kosic` in 1913.

  • My Grandfather was John Nicholas Kosick who married Dragica Unkovich who came over during the depression with her family and who had a farm in Southern Cross .
