George and Marian with their daughter Marian, arrived at Fremantle in 1912. They settled in the Katanning district and over the next 16 years Anne, Walter, Margaret, Catherine, James, Alexander(Russell) and George were born. The family grew with the arrival of 28 grandchildren, they later retired in Victoria Park.
