A transfer to Australia, after war torn England, was wonderful. Two weeks later they were on the high seas. 4 children, Rosina, Elsie, George & Joan. Shopping in Perth with curlers in their hair, only to be met with scandalised stares as Perth ladies wore gloves and best clothes to town.
