Thomas was a convict (Ticket of Leave - he served 7 years) who arrived on the ship 'Minden' in 1851. Dorcas Belton b Mar 1831 & d 17/08/1901 married Thomas at St. John's Church Albany on 17/03/1856. She came on the 'Bride Ship' Clara from Ireland on 03/09/1853. They are my Great Great Grandparents on my Mother's side - Jane Jesse Knapp (Coard), Grace (Ward), Sylvia (Liddiard), Helen (Maher). Thomas & Dorcas had eleven children - Jane Jesse (1857), James (1858), Emma (1860), Thomas (1862), Mary (1862) , Robert (1864), Sarah, Charles William, George, Francis & John.
