After leaving Pingrup, lived in Fremantle (both Henderson St & in building at entrance of prison as father was an Officer). Worked as a Cook at Bolgart Hotel & Goomalling District Hospital. Ran 'Brooklyn Lodge' (Guest House) for almost thirty years. Married Brian Brookes and has five children and ten grandchildren.
