Arthur Albert King, born 1923 Bath, Somerset, married in 1947 to Rosaline Perkins, born 1928 East Meon Hampshire. Early years spent as a farm worker before becoming a hedge-cutting specialist in East Anglia. Left Newmarket with family including son Ken, daughters Kathy and Sally in March 1965 to pursue life-long ambition of being a self employed farmer.
