Sarah married George Barr, a prison warder on Rottnest 25/10/1860. Their son James Barr was born on Rottnest 19/08/1861 - cert no 5964. Reputedly the first non-aboriginal person born on Rottnest. James and his family became farmers in the Quairading area in 1908.
